This week had been a real shell shock for Houstonians and Travis Scott fans as the renowned rapper’s name surfaced across mainstream media yesterday when an ex-girlfriend, Kylie Jenner announced their break up. Scott has one of the strongest and loyal fan bases rap music has seen in its history as a genre, so one can imagine the uproar this caused. Especially once it was revealed that Kylie was with at her ex-boyfriend, another star rapper, in Tyga at his Los Angeles studio at 2 am hours before the break up came to the public light. To make matters worse, Travis is set to drop his first single since his last album Astroworld, in Highest In the Room.

One may infer that this may all be a huge plot to draw more attention to Travis’ release, but only time will tell whether or not this was something the two were serious about or intended to be a publicity stunt.
