Make sure not to miss SpringBoard South Saturday June 24 and Sunday June 25 at The Heinen theater located on HCC’s central campus!!!

The music festival which is celebrating it’s sixth year gives musicians from around the world an opportunity to be seen and heard during a weekend of amazing performances.

Local favorites set to take the stage during the two day event include Houston Press Reader’s Choice “BAND OF THE YEAR” for 2016 BLAZE X BLACK,  HSPA alumni Rhu, Ava Bryant of Spring, the duo behind the smash single, ‘Hit The Mayweather’ Hoax & Haze and 2016 – 2017 recipient of the I AM Spring Branch Independent School District’s award DeCory; to name a few.

With acts from as far away as Singapore attendees will be sure to be exposed to amazing performers SpringBoard South also provides a great chance to network with music professionals!!! #SpringBoardSouth #HCCEgalitarian #HoustonMediaExposure #Music #International  #Bands #IndieArtists

Jimmieka was born and raised in California’s San Francisco Bay Area. She relocated to Houston in 2007 and has been active in the HCC community since 2009. Jimmieka is a communications major with a strong focus on journalism. She is a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success and is passionate about issues affecting students, their education and the communities they reside.
