When most people think of the most talked about most people would most likely talk about how much of an impact that movie had on the community. Most movies have impact whether it be throuugh the cinematography, acting or the overall theme that movie potrays to the viewers. In my opinion, Deadpool v Wolverine takes all those aspects and elivers a movie that will have at the edge of your waiting for whats happening next. Here are some of the aspects that stood out the most and cemented it’s place as the most talked about movie of this year.
Cinematography :
From the diffrent perspectives , the creative use of depth of field to make some scenes feel more closer than they really are and the color grading was vibrant which added more of an emotional effect o some of the scense seen in the movie. although it being an MCU movie , it stood out in tis own right as the use of lighting and the camerawork puts it up there with some of the best MCU films as it potrays in certain thaat even you as a viewer feel as if you’re in the scenes themselves from the rapid action action sequences to the heartwarming moments with deadpool’s friends.
Character Arcs :
If you were to attempt to understand the storyline on a deeper level, then you would notice that movies was essentially the chracter arcs of both Deadpool and Wolverine. Firstly , Deadpool’s inner struggle with his search of a bigger purpose which lead to him to lose motivation in himself as most people would associate him as a vigialante that jokes while taking down enemies. But all of sudden, he’s given a purpose which is to save his world form destruction, which leads to him to go on a journey with Wolverine to amke himself worth something. Similar to Wolverine , who’s refusal to be in a team and rebellious tendencies were the result of him being unable to prevent the deaths of his fellow xmen in his own universe . Which cause him to fall into a deep tunnel of endless rage and murder. Overtime , he realizes that he shouldn’t let the past shacle him from doing what needs ot be done and be a better version of himself. In doing so, during the climax of the movie he assist Deadpool to stop the Time reaper as Wade was going to perform a noble sacrifice and link bothe matter and antimatter ports to stop the machine but with Logan’s assistance; they wer able to stp the device and com out unscathed.
Cameos and The Void:
“The Void” essentially is as stated in the movie ” a trash dump were all the individuals that act against the TVA are thrown into”. Furthermore< it ended revealing a lot of intresting cameos and introduced some new faces to MCU universe such as Cassandra Nova, Blade, Electra and a fan favorite Gambit etc. Cassandra Nova is essentially the complete opposite of her brother Professor X who was pinacle of morality. Essentially her role in the movies brings up a standing arguement as she herself is pessimist who will do whatever to achive her goals even if it means everything gets destroyed, while the heroes are the optimist who are trying to fix everything from a more open minded mindset. As shown by Wolverine as he spares her even though he has every intention to end without any remorse .
