This is the first of a series highlighting the headline acts at the rodeo this year. Today’s article will be on the band Midland. They are a country trio comprising of Mark Wystrach (lead vocals), Jess Gordon (lead guitar) and Cameron Duddy (bass). Tonight’s show will be their debut performance here at RodeoHouston. The band begun playing in the Austin area in 2016, breaking out onto the main stream in country music the following year with On The Rocks (their debut major label album). The singles from that record include: “Drinkin’ Problem”, “Make a Little” and “Burn Out” (my favorite track). The rode the success of that album till last summer, when they released Let It Roll. So far, they’ve only released two singles from their new record: “Mr. Lonely” (an awesome track) and “Cheatin’ Songs”.  My favorite song from the new album is “Put the Hurt on Me” (hopefully they’ll release it as their third single). I highly recommend you check out their music, especially Let It Roll.
