Spoilers ahead!

The pandemic has delayed numerous of summer blockbuster films in the year 2020, but the film industry is finding ways to release them with extra precautions. Godzilla vs. Kong was one of those movies that managed to get released in both in theaters and HBO Max.

The film received positive reviews with a 75% Rotten Tomatoes. It is the third establishment for the Godzilla franchise, and the sequel for Kong: Skull Island.

Compared to Godzilla: King of Monsters, the movie included a very well known kaiju from past films known as MechaGodzilla. Now, what made this movie better than King of Monsters? It was not the monsters, but mostly the human characters.

Godzilla vs. Kong had Godzilla and Kong fighting for who is the most dominant, while eventually fighting another mechanical monster created by an villainous corporation known as Apex Cybernetics. We see a few familiar actors reprise their roles while joining new characters in the storyline. The film ended with Godzilla disappearing into the ocean, while Kong finds a new life inside the Hollow Earth where Monarch monitors his activities and learns the new area.

The movie, however, does not include any end-credit scenes, and fans were left wondering what is next for the Monsterverse franchise.

As a fan, I followed the possible upcoming movies that were planned from both Warner Bros. and Legendary for the Monsterverse where it included a solo films Rodan and Mothra, along with the conclusion of Destroy All Monsters. Most of all, we want to know what happens with Kong and the Hollow Earth.

The decision has not been made whether the franchise will continue based on the poor reviews received from past films, but fans want to see more kaiju monsters such as Anguirus, Gigan, King Caesar, Ebirah, Destroyah, Space Godzilla and more.
