John Madden

On February 4, 1969 the Oakland Raiders hire John Madden.
In 1976 he led Oakland to a Super Bowl title with a victory over the Minnesota Vikings 32-14 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California.
Madden went on to coach the Raiders for ten seasons never having a losing season.
After retiring as a coach, with a record of 103-32-7, he joined Pat Summerall as a broadcaster whom he was paired with for 22-years on Monday Night Football.
In 2006 he joined Al Michaels on NBC’s Sunday Night Football.
Madden was enshrined into the Football Hall of Fame in 2006.
Madden lends his name to the best selling football video game “John Madden Football” by EA Sports.
