As the Houston Texan’s football season comes to end after a devastating lost to the Kansas City Cheifs 23-14, it was very known that this football season was unlike no other season the Texan’s have had before. Standout quarterback Cj Stroud ended this season with an average of 241.35 passing yards per game, according to Stat Muse, using his speed and arm to give the Texan’s a leg up during the regular season. The Houston Texans fan base has had a huge impact on the season with their loud voices screaming throughout NRG stadium every home game, and full head to toe in navy, white, and red gear. According to the Houston Chronicle, Texan’s fan has made it a goal to make it every game possible. This led to the season tickets getting sold out at a remarkable speed, which hasn’t happened since 2019. The team felt all the energy in the stadium which led to some significant wins not only during the regular season, but also in the playoffs. In week 11 the Texan’s took on The Dallas Cowboys and clutched a win 34-10. Joe Mixon led the team with 109 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns, his speed down the field was unmatched. During the wild card game against the LA Chargers the Texans dominated on the defensive side with a total of 4 interceptions by Eric Murry and Derek Stingley Jr. Even though the season has come to a end, the team and fans are very motivated and excited to see what is next for the 2025-2026 season.
