Media Literacy in our life’s
To what extent do you consider yourself media literate (novice, intermediate, expert, etc.)?
I could say intermediate because I only use media when I need it; other than that, I will not use it. Media literacy is a set of abilities that everyone may acquire.
Do you believe that the media has an impact on you?
I would say yes, the real-life example will be news. If we don’t have access to media, how should we know about world news? More explanation is below:
Media literacy encompasses the capacity to access, understand, evaluate, and create various types of media communications, similar to reading and writing proficiency.
These are valuable talents in today’s environment. Nowadays, most people obtain information through a combination of text, visuals, and audio. We must be able to traverse the complicated media environment, understand daily messages, and express ourselves using various tools and technology. Media literacy helps individuals understand complicated messages from various sources, including television, radio, newspapers, magazines, books, billboards, signs, packaging, marketing materials, video games, and recordings.
Music, the Internet, and other types of media. Students can comprehend how media messages convey meaning, often in subtle ways. People who are media savvy can produce their own media and become engaged. Participate in our media culture.
The media you believe you encounter every day is news, which I follow every day. It’s BBC news, which is very helpful for everyone, and the purpose of this media for me is to connect me with the world, and the news is true. On the BBC News website, people can find different kinds of news. BBC News is the British broadcasting corporation’s operational business section, in charge of gathering and transmitting news and current affairs in the UK and around the world.
